October 2020 – AMR system for gas meters in residential buildings

Every system integration on the field brings new challenges - and new ways to overcome them. 😊

We have prepared and installed an AMR system for gas meters in a new residential building while it was still in the construction phase. The complex layout of the hallways along with the fact there was no electricity in the corridors was a potential challenge for the system testing. Our engineers quickly provided a solution – installing our wireless repeater devices on ‘’strategic’’ points forwarding all module telegrams to the central unit. This way the AMR system was ready even before the building was finished with no visible cables or ducts in the hallways. 😊 Therefore, we utilized our devices - HoloSphere, active antenna 868AAO, WREP and the GasPulsar.
